5“My covenantבְּרִיתִ֣י׀be.ri.TiH1285with himאִתּ֗וֹ'i.ToH854wasהָיְתָ֣הha.ye.TahH1961oneof lifeהַֽחַיִּים֙ha.chai.YimH2416and peaceוְהַ֨שָּׁל֔וֹםve.Ha.sha.LomH7965,which I gaveוָאֶתְּנֵֽם־va.'e.te.nem-H5414to him;it called for reverenceמוֹרָ֖אmo.Ra'H4172,and he revered Meוַיִּֽירָאֵ֑נִיvai.yi.ra.'E.niH3372and stood in aweוּמִפְּנֵ֥י נִחַ֥ת הֽוּא׃u.mi.pe.Nei ni.Chat Hu'H2865H1931H6440of My nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034.
6Trueאֱמֶת֙'e.MetH571instructionתּוֹרַ֤תto.RatH8451wasהָיְתָ֣הha.ye.TahH1961in his mouthבְּפִ֔יהוּbe.Fi.huH6310,and nothingלֹא־lo'-H3808falseוְעַוְלָ֖הve.'av.LahH5766was foundנִמְצָ֣אnim.Tza'H4672on his lipsבִשְׂפָתָ֑יוvis.fa.TavH8193.He walkedהָלַ֣ךְha.LakhH1980with Meאִתִּ֔י'i.TiH854in peaceבְּשָׁל֤וֹםbe.sha.LomH7965and uprightnessוּבְמִישׁוֹר֙u.ve.mi.shOrH4334,and he turnedהֵשִׁ֥יבhe.ShivH7725manyוְרַבִּ֖יםve.ra.BimH7227from iniquityמֵעָוֹֽן׃me.'a.VonH5771.
7Forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the lipsשִׂפְתֵ֤יsif.TeiH8193of a priestכֹהֵן֙kho.HenH3548should preserveיִשְׁמְרוּ־yish.me.ru-H8104knowledgeדַ֔עַתDa.'atH1847,and people should seekיְבַקְשׁ֣וּye.vak.ShuH1245instructionוְתוֹרָ֖הve.to.RahH8451from his mouthמִפִּ֑יהוּmi.Pi.huH6310,becauseכִּ֛יkiH3588heהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931is the messengerמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָֽה־Yah.weh-H3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635.
8But youוְאַתֶּם֙ve.'a.TemH859have departedסַרְתֶּ֣םsar.TemH5493fromמִן־min-H4480the wayהַדֶּ֔רֶךְha.De.rekhH1870,and your instructionבַּתּוֹרָ֑הba.to.RahH8451has caused manyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227to stumbleהִכְשַׁלְתֶּ֥םhikh.shal.TemH3782.You have violatedשִֽׁחַתֶּם֙shi.cha.TemH7843the covenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285of Leviהַלֵּוִ֔יha.le.ViH3878,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.
9“So Iאֲנִ֞י'a.NiH589in turnוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571have madeנָתַ֧תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414אֶתְכֶ֛ם'et.KhemH853you despisedנִבְזִ֥יםniv.ZimH959and humiliatedוּשְׁפָלִ֖יםu.she.fa.LimH8217before allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971,becauseכְּפִ֗יke.FiH6310אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834you have notאֵֽינְכֶם֙'ei.ne.KhemH369keptשֹׁמְרִ֣יםsho.me.RimH8104אֶת־'et-H853My waysדְּרָכַ֔יde.ra.KhaiH1870,but have shown partialityוְנֹשְׂאִ֥ים פָּנִ֖יםve.no.se.'Im pa.NimH5375H6440in matters of the lawבַּתּוֹרָֽה׃ פba.to.RahH8451.”
