2Ifאִם־'im-H518you do notלֹ֣אlo'H3808listenתִשְׁמְע֡וּtish.me.'UH8085,and ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518you do notלֹא֩lo'H3808takeתָשִׂ֨ימוּta.Si.muH7760ittoעַל־'al-H5921heartלֵ֜בlevH3820to honorלָתֵ֧ת כָּב֣וֹדla.Tet ka.VodH5414 H3519My nameלִשְׁמִ֗יlish.MiH8034,”saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “I will sendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤יve.shi.lach.TiH7971אֶת־'et-H853a curseהַמְּאֵרָ֔הha.me.'e.RahH3994among you,and I will curseוְאָרוֹתִ֖יve.'a.ro.TiH779אֶת־'et-H853your blessingsבִּרְכֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑םbir.kho.tei.KhemH1293.Yesוְגַם֙ve.GamH1571,I have already begun to curse themאָרוֹתִ֔יהָ'a.ro.Ti.haH779,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588you are notאֵינְכֶ֖ם'ein.KhemH369takingשָׂמִ֥יםsa.MimH7760it toעַל־'al-H5921heartלֵֽב׃LevH3820.

3Beholdהִנְנִ֨יhi.NiH2005,I will rebukeגֹעֵ֤רgo.'ErH1605yourאֶת־'et-H853descendantsהַזֶּ֔רַעha.Ze.ra'H2233,and I will spreadוְזֵרִ֤יתִיve.ze.Ri.tiH2219dungפֶ֙רֶשׁ֙fe.reshH6569onעַל־'al-H5921your facesפְּנֵיכֶ֔םpe.nei.KhemH6440,the wasteפֶּ֖רֶשׁPe.reshH6569from your feastsחַגֵּיכֶ֑םcha.gei.KhemH2282,and you will be carried offוְנָשָׂ֥אve.na.Sa'H5375אֶתְכֶ֖ם'et.KhemH853with itאֵלָֽיו׃'e.LavH413.

4Then you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּ֚יkiH3588I have sentשִׁלַּ֣חְתִּיshi.Lach.tiH7971youאֲלֵיכֶ֔ם'a.lei.KhemH413אֵ֖ת'etH853thisהַזֹּ֑אתha.ZotH2063commandmentהַמִּצְוָ֣הha.mitz.VahH4687so that My covenantבְּרִיתִי֙be.ri.TiH1285withאֶת־'et-H854Leviלֵוִ֔יle.ViH3878may continueלִֽהְי֤וֹתlih.YotH1961,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

5“My covenantבְּרִיתִ֣י׀be.ri.TiH1285with himאִתּ֗וֹ'i.ToH854wasהָיְתָ֣הha.ye.TahH1961oneof lifeהַֽחַיִּים֙ha.chai.YimH2416and peaceוְהַ֨שָּׁל֔וֹםve.Ha.sha.LomH7965,which I gaveוָאֶתְּנֵֽם־va.'e.te.nem-H5414to him;it called for reverenceמוֹרָ֖אmo.Ra'H4172,and he revered Meוַיִּֽירָאֵ֑נִיvai.yi.ra.'E.niH3372and stood in aweוּמִפְּנֵ֥י נִחַ֥ת הֽוּא׃u.mi.pe.Nei ni.Chat Hu'H2865 H1931 H6440of My nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034.

6Trueאֱמֶת֙'e.MetH571instructionתּוֹרַ֤תto.RatH8451wasהָיְתָ֣הha.ye.TahH1961in his mouthבְּפִ֔יהוּbe.Fi.huH6310,and nothingלֹא־lo'-H3808falseוְעַוְלָ֖הve.'av.LahH5766was foundנִמְצָ֣אnim.Tza'H4672on his lipsבִשְׂפָתָ֑יוvis.fa.TavH8193.He walkedהָלַ֣ךְha.LakhH1980with Meאִתִּ֔י'i.TiH854in peaceבְּשָׁל֤וֹםbe.sha.LomH7965and uprightnessוּבְמִישׁוֹר֙u.ve.mi.shOrH4334,and he turnedהֵשִׁ֥יבhe.ShivH7725manyוְרַבִּ֖יםve.ra.BimH7227from iniquityמֵעָוֹֽן׃me.'a.VonH5771.

7Forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the lipsשִׂפְתֵ֤יsif.TeiH8193of a priestכֹהֵן֙kho.HenH3548should preserveיִשְׁמְרוּ־yish.me.ru-H8104knowledgeדַ֔עַתDa.'atH1847,and people should seekיְבַקְשׁ֣וּye.vak.ShuH1245instructionוְתוֹרָ֖הve.to.RahH8451from his mouthמִפִּ֑יהוּmi.Pi.huH6310,becauseכִּ֛יkiH3588heהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931is the messengerמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָֽה־Yah.weh-H3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635.

8But youוְאַתֶּם֙ve.'a.TemH859have departedסַרְתֶּ֣םsar.TemH5493fromמִן־min-H4480the wayהַדֶּ֔רֶךְha.De.rekhH1870,and your instructionבַּתּוֹרָ֑הba.to.RahH8451has caused manyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227to stumbleהִכְשַׁלְתֶּ֥םhikh.shal.TemH3782.You have violatedשִֽׁחַתֶּם֙shi.cha.TemH7843the covenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285of Leviהַלֵּוִ֔יha.le.ViH3878,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

9“So Iאֲנִ֞י'a.NiH589in turnוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571have madeנָתַ֧תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414אֶתְכֶ֛ם'et.KhemH853you despisedנִבְזִ֥יםniv.ZimH959and humiliatedוּשְׁפָלִ֖יםu.she.fa.LimH8217before allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971,becauseכְּפִ֗יke.FiH6310אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834you have notאֵֽינְכֶם֙'ei.ne.KhemH369keptשֹׁמְרִ֣יםsho.me.RimH8104אֶת־'et-H853My waysדְּרָכַ֔יde.ra.KhaiH1870,but have shown partialityוְנֹשְׂאִ֥ים פָּנִ֖יםve.no.se.'Im pa.NimH5375 H6440in matters of the lawבַּתּוֹרָֽה׃ פba.to.RahH8451.”
