Nehemiah 9:9-15
9And thou sawest the affliction of our fathersH1 in EgyptH4714, and heardest their cryH2201 by the Red SeaH3220, 10and showedst signsH226 and wondersH4159 upon PharaohH6547, and on all his servantsH5650, and on all the peopleH5971 of his landH776; for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them, and didst get thee a nameH8034, as it is this dayH3117. 11And thou didst divide the seaH3220 before them, so that they went through the midstH8432 of the seaH3220 on the dryH3004 landH3004; and their pursuersH7291 thou didst castH7993 into the depthsH4688, as a stoneH68 into the mightyH5794 watersH4325. 12Moreover in a pillarH5982 of cloudH6051 thou leddest them by dayH3119; and in a pillarH5982 of fireH784 by nightH3915, to giveH215 them lightH215 in the wayH1870 wherein they should go. 13Thou camest downH3381 also upon mount SinaiH5514, and spakest with them from heavenH8064, and gavest them rightH3477 ordinancesH4941 and true lawsH8451, goodH2896 statutesH2706 and commandmentsH4687, 14and madest knownH3045 unto them thy holyH6944 sabbathH7676, and commandedst them commandmentsH4687, and statutesH2706, and a lawH8451, by MosesH4872 thy servantH5650, 15and gavest them breadH3899 from heavenH8064 for their hungerH7458, and broughtest forthH3318 waterH4325 for them out of the rockH5553 for their thirstH6772, and commandedst them that they should goH3318 in to possessH3423 the landH776 which thou hadst sworn to giveH5414 them.
