Habakkuk 2:5-9
5Yea, moreover, wineH3196 is treacherousH898, a haughty manH1397, that keepeth not at home; who enlargeth his desireH5315 as SheolH7585, and he is as deathH4194, and cannot be satisfiedH7646, but gathereth unto him all nationsH1471, and heapeth unto him all peoplesH5971. 6Shall not all these takeH5375 up a parableH4912 against him, and a taunting proverbH4912 against him, and sayH559, WoeH1945 to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and that ladeth himself with pledges! 7Shall they not riseH6965 up suddenlyH6621 that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt beH1961 for booty unto them? 8Because thou hast plunderedH7997 manyH7227 nationsH1471, all the remnant of the peoplesH5971 shall plunder thee, because of men’sH120 bloodH1818, and for the violenceH2555 done to the landH776, to the city and to all that dwellH3427 therein.
9WoeH1945 to him that getteth an evilH7451 gainH1215 for his houseH1004, that he may setH7760 his nestH7064 on highH4791, that he may be deliveredH5337 from the handH3709 of evilH7451!
