1 Peter 3:8-13
8Finally, be ye all likeminded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, humbleminded: 9not rendering evilG2556 for evilG2556, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessingG2129; for hereunto were ye calledG2564, that ye should inheritG2816 a blessingG2129. 10For,
He that wouldG2309 loveG25 lifeG2222,And seeG3708 goodG18 daysG2250,Let him refrain his tongueG1100 from evilG2556,And his lipsG5491 that they speakG2980 no guile:11And let him turnG1578 awayG575 from evilG2556, and do goodG18;Let him seekG2212 peaceG1515, and pursueG1377 it.12For the eyesG3788 of the LordG2962 are upon the righteousG1342,And his earsG3775 unto their supplicationG1162:But the faceG4383 of the LordG2962 is upon them that do evilG2556.
13And who is he that will harmG2559 you, if ye be zealousG2207 of that which is goodG18?
