3How greatarehissigns!andhow mightyarehiswonders!hiskingdomisan everlasting kingdom,andhisdominionisfromgenerationtogeneration.
7Then cameinthemagicians, theenchanters, theChaldeans, andthesoothsayers;andI toldthedream before them; but they did not make known unto metheinterpretation thereof.
8But atthelast Danielcamein before me, whose namewasBelteshazzar, accordingtothename of my god, andin whom isthespirit oftheholy gods:andI toldthedream before him, saying,
9O Belteshazzar, masterofthemagicians, becauseIknow thatthespiritoftheholy gods isinthee, andno secret troubleth thee, tell methevisionsofmy dream thatIhave seen, andtheinterpretation thereof.
14Hecried aloud,andsaid thus, Hew downthetree,andcut offitsbranches, shake offitsleaves,andscatteritsfruit: letthebeasts get awayfromunderit,andthefowlsfromitsbranches.

18This dream I, king Nebuchadnezzar, have seen;andthou, O Belteshazzar, declaretheinterpretation, forasmuch asallthewise menofmy kingdom are not abletomake known unto metheinterpretation; but thou art able;forthespiritoftheholy gods isinthee.
19ThenDaniel,whosenamewasBelteshazzar,wasstricken dumbfora while, andhisthoughts troubled him.ThekingH4430answeredandsaid, Belteshazzar, let notthedream, ortheinterpretation, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answeredandsaid,Mylord, thedream betothemthathate thee, andtheinterpretation thereoftothine adversaries.

33Thesame hourwasthething fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar:andhewasdriven from men, anddid eat grassasoxen, andhisbodywaswetwiththedewofheaven, tillhishairwasgrown like eagles’ feathers, andhisnails like birds’ claws.
35and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
36At the same time mine understanding returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added unto me.
37Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
