Revised Version 1895
Deuteronomy 6:2-9
that thou mightest fearH3372 the LORDH3068 thy GodH430, to keepH8104 allH3605 his statutesH2708 and his commandmentsH4687, whichH834 I commandH6680 thee, thou, and thy sonH1121, and thy son’sH1121 sonH1121, allH3605 the daysH3117 of thy lifeH3117; and that thy daysH3117 may be prolongedH748.
HearH8085 therefore, O IsraelH3478, and observeH8104 to doH6213 it; that it may be wellH3190 with thee, and that ye may increaseH7235 mightily, as the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of thy fathersH1, hath promisedH1696 unto thee, in a landH776 flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706.
Hear, O IsraelH3478: the LORDH3068 our GodH430 is one LORDH3068:
and thou shalt loveH157 the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 with allH3605 thine heartH3824, and with allH3605 thy soulH5315, and with allH3605 thy might.
And theseH428 wordsH1697, whichH834 I commandH6680 thee this dayH3117, shall be uponH5921 thine heartH3824:
and thou shalt teachH8150 them diligentlyH8150 unto thy childrenH1121, and shalt talkH1696 of them when thou sittest in thine houseH1004, and when thou walkest by the wayH1870, and when thou liest downH7901, and when thou risest upH6965.
And thou shalt bindH7194 them for a signH226 uponH5921 thine handH3027, and they shall be for frontlets betweenH996 thine eyesH5869.
And thou shalt writeH3789 them uponH5921 the doorH4201 postsH4201 of thy houseH1004, and uponH5921 thy gatesH8179.
