Revised Version 1895
Deuteronomy 24:13-16
13thou shalt surelyH7725 restoreH7725 to him the pledgeH5667 when the sunH8121 goeth downH7901, that he may sleepH7901 in his garmentH8008, and blessH1288 thee: and it shall be righteousnessH6666 unto thee beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 thy GodH430.
14Thou shalt notH3808 oppressH6231 an hiredH7916 servantH7916 that is poorH6041 and needyH34, whetherH176 he be of thy brethrenH251, or of thy strangersH1616 that are in thy landH776 within thy gatesH8179:
15in his dayH3117 thou shalt giveH5414 him his hireH7939, neitherH3808 shall the sunH8121 goH935 downH5414 uponH5921 it; for he is poorH6041, and setteth his heartH5315 uponH5921 it: lest he cryH7121 againstH5921 thee unto the LORDH3068, and it be sinH2399 unto thee.
16The fathersH1 shall notH3808 be putH4191 to deathH4191 for the childrenH1121, neitherH3808 shall the childrenH1121 be putH4191 to deathH4191 for the fathersH1: everyH376 manH376 shall be putH4191 to deathH4191 for his ownH376 sinH2399.
