Revised Version 1895
Deuteronomy 20:10-15
10When thou drawest nigh unto a cityH5892 to fightH3898 againstH5921 it, then proclaimH7121 peaceH7965 unto it.
11And it shall be, ifH518 it makeH5647 thee answerH6030 of peaceH7965, and openH6605 unto thee, then it shall be, that allH3605 the peopleH5971 that is foundH4672 therein shall becomeH1961 tributary unto thee, and shall serveH5647 thee.
12And ifH518 it will makeH6213 noH3808 peace with thee, but will makeH6213 warH4421 againstH5921 thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
13and when the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 delivereth it intoH3027 thine handH3027, thou shalt smiteH5221 everyH3605 male thereof with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719:
14but the womenH802, and the littleH2945 onesH2945, and the cattleH929, and allH3605 that is in the cityH5892, evenH853 allH3605 the spoilH7998 thereof, shalt thou takeH962 for a preyH962 unto thyself; and thou shalt eatH398 the spoilH7998 of thine enemiesH341, whichH834 the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 hath givenH5414 thee.
15ThusH3651 shalt thou doH6213 unto allH3605 the citiesH5892 whichH834 are veryH3966 farH7350 offH7350 from thee, whichH834 are notH3808 of the citiesH5892 of theseH428 nationsH1471.
