Deuteronomy 1:19-33
And weH834 journeyedH5265 from HorebH2722, and wentH935 throughH935 allH3605 that greatH1419 and terrible wildernessH4057 whichH834 ye sawH7200, by the wayH1870 to the hillH2022 countryH2022 of the AmoritesH567, as the LORDH3068 our GodH430 commandedH6680 usH935; and weH834 cameH935 to Kadesh-barneaH6947.
And I saidH559 unto youH834, Ye are comeH935 unto the hillH2022 countryH2022 of the AmoritesH567, whichH834 the LORDH3068 our GodH430 giveth unto usH5414.
BeholdH7200, the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 hath setH5414 the landH776 beforeH6440 thee: goH5927 upH5927, takeH3423 possessionH3423, as the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of thy fathersH1, hath spokenH1696 unto thee; fearH3372 notH408, neitherH408 be dismayedH2865.
And ye cameH935 nearH7126 unto meH413 everyH3605 one of youH834, and saidH559, LetH7971 usH413 sendH7971 menH376 beforeH6440 usH413, that they may searchH2658 the landH776 for usH413, and bringH935 usH413 wordH1697 againH7725 of the wayH1870 by whichH834 weH834 mustH853 goH935 upH5927, and the citiesH5892 unto whichH834 weH834 shall comeH935.
And the thingH1697 pleasedH3190 meH4480 wellH3190: and I tookH3947 twelveH6240 menH376 of youH4480, one manH376 for everyH376 tribeH7626:
and they turnedH6437 and wentH935 upH5927 intoH935 the mountainH2022, and cameH935 unto the valleyH5158 of EshcolH812, and spiedH7270 it outH7270.
And they tookH3947 of the fruitH6529 of the landH776 in their handsH3027, and broughtH7725 it downH3381 unto usH5414, and broughtH7725 usH5414 wordH1697 againH7725, and saidH559, It is a goodH2896 landH776 whichH834 the LORDH3068 our GodH430 giveth unto usH5414.
Yet ye would notH3808 goH5927 upH5927, but rebelledH4784 againstH5927 the commandmentH6310 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430:
and ye murmured in your tentsH168, and saidH559, BecauseH559 the LORDH3068 hatedH8135 usH5414, he hath broughtH3318 usH5414 forthH3318 outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, to deliverH5414 usH5414 intoH776 the handH3027 of the AmoritesH567, to destroyH8045 usH5414.
Whither are weH587 goingH5927 upH5927? our brethrenH251 have madeH1571 our heartH3824 to meltH4549, sayingH559, The peopleH5971 is greaterH1419 and tallerH7311 thanH4480 weH587; the citiesH5892 are greatH1419 and fenced upH5927 to heavenH8064; and moreoverH1571 weH587 have seenH7200 the sonsH1121 of the AnakimH6062 there.
Then I saidH559 unto youH3808, DreadH6206 notH3808, neitherH3808 be afraidH3372 of them.
The LORDH3068 your GodH430 who goeth beforeH6440 youH834, he shall fightH3898 for youH834, according to allH3605 that he didH6213 for youH834 in EgyptH4714 beforeH6440 your eyesH5869;
and in the wildernessH4057, whereH834 thou hast seenH7200 howH834 that the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 bare thee, as a manH376 doth bearH5375 his sonH1121, in allH3605 the wayH1870 that ye wentH1980, untilH5704 ye cameH935 unto this placeH4725.
Yet in this thingH1697 ye did notH369 believeH539 the LORDH3068 your GodH430,
who wentH1980 beforeH6440 youH834 in the wayH1870, to seekH8446 youH834 outH6440 a placeH4725 to pitch your tents in, in fireH784 by nightH3915, to shew youH834 by whatH834 wayH1870 ye should goH1980, and in the cloudH6051 by dayH3119.
