2 Chronicles 7:17-22

17And as for thee, ifH518 thou wilt walkH1980 beforeH6440 meH6440 as DavidH1732 thy fatherH1 walkedH1980, and doH6213 accordingH4941 to allH3605 that I have commandedH6680 thee, and wilt keepH8104 my statutesH2706 and my judgmentsH4941; 18then I will establishH6965 the throneH3678 of thy kingdomH4438, accordingH376 as I covenantedH3772 with DavidH1732 thy fatherH1, sayingH559, There shall notH3808 failH3772 thee a manH376 to be rulerH4910 in IsraelH3478. 19But ifH518 ye turnH7725 awayH7725, and forsakeH5800 my statutesH2708 and my commandmentsH4687 whichH834 I have setH5414 beforeH6440 youH859, and shall goH1980 and serveH5647 otherH312 godsH430, and worshipH7812 them: 20then will I pluckH5428 them upH5921 by the roots outH6440 of my landH127 whichH834 I have givenH5414 them; and this houseH1004, whichH834 I have hallowed for my nameH8034, will I castH7993 outH6440 of my sightH6440, and I will makeH5414 it a proverbH4912 and a bywordH4912 among allH3605 peoplesH5971. 21And this houseH1004, whichH834 is soH6213 high, everyH3605 one that passeth by it shall be astonishedH8074, and shall sayH559, WhyH4100 hath the LORDH3068 doneH6213 thusH3602 unto this landH776, and to this houseH1004? 22And they shall answerH559, BecauseH5921 they forsook the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of their fathersH1, whichH834 broughtH935 them forthH3318 outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and laidH2388 holdH2388 on otherH312 godsH430, and worshipped them, and servedH5647 them: therefore hath he broughtH935 allH3605 this evilH7451 uponH5921 them.
