2And the fear of youוּמוֹרַאֲכֶ֤םu.mo.ra.'a.KhemH4172and the dread of youוְחִתְּכֶם֙ve.chi.te.KhemH2844shall be upon every beastחַיַּ֣תchai.YatH2416of the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and upon every fowlע֣וֹףofH5775of the airהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,upon all that movethתִּרְמֹ֧שׂtir.MosH7430uponthe earthהָֽאֲדָמָ֛הha.'a.da.MahH127,and upon all the fishesדְּגֵ֥יde.GeiH1709of the seaהַיָּ֖םhai.YamH3220;into your handבְּיֶדְכֶ֥םbe.yed.KhemH3027are they deliveredנִתָּֽנוּ׃ni.Ta.nuH5414.

3Every moving thingרֶ֙מֶשׂ֙Re.mesH7431that livethחַ֔יChaiH2416shall be meatלְאָכְלָ֑הle.'okh.LahH402for you; even as the greenכְּיֶ֣רֶקke.Ye.rekH3418herbעֵ֔שֶׂב'E.sevH6212have I givenנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414you all things.

4Butאַךְ־'akh-H389fleshבָּשָׂ֕רba.SarH1320with the lifeבְּנַפְשׁ֥וֹbe.naf.ShoH5315thereof, which isthe bloodדָמ֖וֹda.MoH1818thereof, shall ye not eatתֹאכֵֽלוּ׃to.Khe.luH398.

6Whoso sheddethשֹׁפֵךְ֙sho.feKhH8210man’sהָֽאָדָ֔םha.'a.DamH120bloodדַּ֣םdamH1818,by manבָּֽאָדָ֖םba.'a.DamH120shall his bloodדָּמ֣וֹda.MoH1818be shedיִשָּׁפֵ֑ךְyi.sha.FekhH8210:for in the imageבְּצֶ֣לֶםbe.Tze.lemH6754of Godאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430madeעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213he manהָאָדָֽם׃ha.'a.DamH120.

7And you, be ye fruitfulפְּר֣וּpe.RuH6509,and multiplyוּרְב֑וּu.re.VuH7235;bring forth abundantlyשִׁרְצ֥וּshir.TzuH8317in the earthבָאָ֖רֶץva.'A.retzH776,and multiplyוּרְבוּ־u.re.vu-H7235therein.

8And Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430spakeוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Noahנֹ֔חַNo.achH5146,and to his sonsבָּנָ֥יוba.NavH1121with him, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

9And I, behold, I establishמֵקִ֛יםme.KimH6965my covenantבְּרִיתִ֖יbe.ri.TiH1285with you, and with your seedזַרְעֲכֶ֖םzar.'a.KhemH2233after youאַֽחֲרֵיכֶֽם׃'A.cha.rei.KhemH310;

10And with every livingהַֽחַיָּה֙ha.chai.YahH2416creatureנֶ֤פֶשׁNe.feshH5315that iswith you, of the fowlבָּע֧וֹףba.'ofH5775,of the cattleבַּבְּהֵמָ֛הba.be.he.MahH929,and of every beastחַיַּ֥תchai.YatH2416of the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776with you; from all that go outיֹצְאֵ֣יyo.tze.'EiH3318of the arkהַתֵּבָ֔הha.te.VahH8392,to every beastחַיַּ֥תchai.YatH2416of the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

11And I will establishוַהֲקִמֹתִ֤יva.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965my covenantבְּרִיתִי֙be.ri.TiH1285with you; neither shall all fleshבָּשָׂ֛רba.SarH1320be cut offיִכָּרֵ֧תyi.ka.RetH3772any more by the watersמִמֵּ֣יmi.MeiH4325of a floodהַמַּבּ֑וּלha.ma.BulH3999;neither shall there any more be a floodמַבּ֖וּלma.BulH3999to destroyלְשַׁחֵ֥תle.sha.ChetH7843the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

12And Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, This isthe tokenאֽוֹת־'ot-H226of the covenantהַבְּרִית֙ha.be.RitH1285which Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589makeנֹתֵ֗ןno.TenH5414between me and you and every livingחַיָּ֖הchai.YahH2416creatureנֶ֥פֶשׁNe.feshH5315that iswith you, for perpetualעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769generationsלְדֹרֹ֖תle.do.RotH1755:

13I do setנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414my bowקַשְׁתִּ֕יkash.TiH7198in the cloudבֶּֽעָנָ֑ןbe.'a.NanH6051,and it shall be for a tokenלְא֣וֹתle.'otH226of a covenantבְּרִ֔יתbe.RitH1285between me and the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

14And it shall come to pass, when I bringבְּעַֽנְנִ֥יbe.'a.NiH6049a cloudעָנָ֖ן'a.NanH6051over the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,that the bowהַקֶּ֖שֶׁתha.Ke.shetH7198shall be seenוְנִרְאֲתָ֥הve.nir.'a.TahH7200in the cloudבֶּעָנָֽן׃be.'a.NanH6051:

15And I will rememberוְזָכַרְתִּ֣יve.za.khar.TiH2142my covenantבְּרִיתִ֗יbe.ri.TiH1285, which isbetween me and you and every livingחַיָּ֖הchai.YahH2416creatureנֶ֥פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of all fleshבָּשָׂ֑רba.SarH1320;and the watersהַמַּ֙יִם֙ha.Ma.yimH4325shall no moreע֤וֹדodH5750become a floodלְמַבּ֔וּלle.ma.BulH3999to destroyלְשַׁחֵ֖תle.sha.ChetH7843all fleshבָּשָֽׂר׃ba.SarH1320.

16And the bowהַקֶּ֖שֶׁתha.Ke.shetH7198shall be in the cloudבֶּֽעָנָ֑ןbe.'a.NanH6051;and I will look upon itוּרְאִיתִ֗יהָu.re.'i.Ti.haH7200,that I may rememberלִזְכֹּר֙liz.KorH2142the everlastingעוֹלָ֔םo.LamH5769covenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285betweenבֵּ֣יןbeinH996Godאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430andוּבֵין֙u.VeinH996every livingחַיָּ֔הchai.YahH2416creatureנֶ֣פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of all fleshבָּשָׂ֖רba.SarH1320that isupon the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

18And the sonsבְנֵי־ve.nei-H1121of Noahנֹ֗חַNo.achH5146,that went forthהַיֹּֽצְאִים֙hai.yo.tze.'ImH3318of the arkהַתֵּבָ֔הha.te.VahH8392,were Shemשֵׁ֖םshemH8035,and Hamוְחָ֣םve.ChamH2526,and Japhethוָיָ֑פֶתva.Ya.fetH3315:and Hamוְחָ֕ם ה֖וּאve.Cham hu'H1931 H2526isthe fatherאֲבִ֥י'a.ViH1of Canaanכְנָֽעַן׃khe.Na.'anH3667.

19These arethe threeשְׁלֹשָׁ֥הshe.lo.ShahH7969sonsבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Noahנֹ֑חַNo.achH5146:and of them was the whole earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776overspreadנָֽפְצָ֥הna.fe.TzahH5310.

20And Noahנֹ֖חַNo.achH5146beganוַיָּ֥חֶלvai.Ya.chelH2490to bean husbandmanאִ֣ישׁ הָֽאֲדָמָ֑ה'ish ha.'a.da.MahH127 H376,and he plantedוַיִּטַּ֖עvai.yi.Ta'H5193a vineyardכָּֽרֶם׃Ka.remH3754:

21And he drankוַיֵּ֥שְׁתְּvai.Ye.shetH8354of the wineהַיַּ֖יִןhai.Ya.yinH3196,and was drunkenוַיִּשְׁכָּ֑רvai.yish.KarH7937;and he was uncoveredוַיִּתְגַּ֖לvai.yit.GalH1540withinבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432his tentאָהֳלֽוֹ׃'o.ho.LoH168.

22And Hamחָ֚םchamH2526,the fatherאֲבִ֣י'a.ViH1of Canaanכְנַ֔עַןkhe.Na.'anH3667,sawוַיַּ֗רְאvai.Yar'H7200the nakednessעֶרְוַ֣ת'er.VatH6172of his fatherאָבִ֑יו'a.VivH1,and toldוַיַּגֵּ֥דvai.ya.GedH5046his twoלִשְׁנֵֽי־lish.nei-H8147brethrenאֶחָ֖יו'e.ChavH251withoutבַּחֽוּץ׃ba.ChutzH2351.

25And he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Cursedאָר֣וּר'a.RurH779beCanaanכְּנָ֑עַןke.Na.'anH3667;a servantעֶ֥בֶד'E.vedH5650of servantsעֲבָדִ֖ים'a.va.DimH5650shall he be unto his brethrenלְאֶחָֽיו׃le.'e.ChavH251.
