12Then Isaacיִצְחָק֙yitz.ChakH3327sowedוַיִּזְרַ֤עvai.yiz.Ra'H2232in that landבָּאָ֣רֶץba.'A.retzH776,and receivedוַיִּמְצָ֛אvai.yim.Tza'H4672in the same yearבַּשָּׁנָ֥הba.sha.NahH8141an hundredfoldמֵאָ֣ה שְׁעָרִ֑יםme.'Ah she.'a.RimH8180 H3967:And Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068blessedוַֽיְבָרֲכֵ֖הוּvay.va.ra.Khe.huH1288him.

13And the manהָאִ֑ישׁha.'IshH376waxed greatH1431,and wentH3212forwardH1980,and grewוְגָדֵ֔לve.ga.DelH1432until he becameH1431veryמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966greatH1431:

14For he had possessionמִקְנֵה־mik.neh-H4735of flocksצֹאן֙tzoNH6629,and possessionוּמִקְנֵ֣הu.mik.NehH4735of herdsבָקָ֔רva.KarH1241,and great storeרַבָּ֑הra.BahH7227of servantsוַעֲבֻדָּ֖הva.'a.vu.DahH5657:and the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃pe.lish.TimH6430enviedוַיְקַנְא֥וּvay.kan.'UH7065him.

15For all the wellsהַבְּאֵרֹ֗תha.be.'e.RotH875which his father’sאָבִ֔יו'a.VivH1servantsעַבְדֵ֣י'av.DeiH5650had diggedחָֽפְרוּ֙cha.fe.RuH2658in the daysבִּימֵ֖יbi.MeiH3117of Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֣ם'av.ra.HamH85his fatherאָבִ֑יו'a.VivH1,the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםpe.lish.TimH6430had stoppedסִתְּמ֣וּםsi.te.MumH5640them, and filledוַיְמַלְא֖וּםvay.mal.'UmH4390them with earthעָפָֽר׃'a.FarH6083.

16And Abimelechאֲבִימֶ֖לֶךְ'a.vi.Me.lekhH40saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Isaacיִצְחָ֑קyitz.ChakH3327,GoH3212from us; for thou art muchמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966mightierעָצַֽמְתָּ־'a.tzam.ta-H6105than we.

17And Isaacיִצְחָ֑קyitz.ChakH3327departedH3212thence, and pitched his tentוַיִּ֥חַןvai.Yi.chanH2583in the valleyבְּנַֽחַל־be.na.chal-H5158of Gerarגְּרָ֖רge.RarH1642,and dweltוַיֵּ֥שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427thereH8033.

18And Isaacיִצְחָ֜קyitz.ChakH3327diggedוַיַּחְפֹּ֣ר׀vai.yach.PorH2658againוַיָּ֨שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725the wellsבְּאֵרֹ֣תbe.'e.RotH875of waterהַמַּ֗יִםha.Ma.yimH4325,which they had diggedחָֽפְרוּ֙cha.fe.RuH2658in the daysבִּימֵי֙bi.MeiH3117of Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֣ם'av.ra.HamH85his fatherאָבִ֔יו'a.VivH1;for the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםpe.lish.TimH6430had stoppedוַיְסַתְּמ֣וּםvay.sa.te.MumH5640them afterאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310the deathמ֣וֹתMotH4194of Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֑ם'av.ra.HamH85:and he calledוַיִּקְרָ֤אvai.yik.Ra'H7121their namesשֵׁמ֔וֹתshe.MotH8034after the namesכַּשֵּׁמֹ֕תka.she.MotH8034by whichH834his fatherאָבִֽיו׃'a.VivH1had calledקָרָ֥אka.Ra'H7121them.

19And Isaac’sיִצְחָ֖קyitz.ChakH3327servantsעַבְדֵֽי־'av.dei-H5650diggedוַיַּחְפְּר֥וּvai.yach.pe.RuH2658in the valleyבַּנָּ֑חַלba.Na.chalH5158,and foundוַיִּ֨מְצְאוּ־vai.Yim.tze.'u-H4672there a wellבְּאֵ֖רbe.'ErH875of springingחַיִּֽים׃chai.YimH2416waterמַ֥יִםMa.yimH4325.

20And the herdmenרֹעֵ֣יro.'EiH7462of Gerarגְרָ֗רge.RarH1642did striveוַיָּרִ֜יבוּvai.ya.Ri.vuH7378with Isaac’sיִצְחָ֛קyitz.ChakH3327herdmenרֹעֵ֥יro.'EiH7462,sayingלֵאמֹ֖רle.MorH559,The waterהַמָּ֑יִםha.Ma.yimH4325isours: and he calledוַיִּקְרָ֤אvai.yik.Ra'H7121the nameשֵֽׁם־shem-H8034of the wellהַבְּאֵר֙ha.be.'ErH875Esekעֵ֔שֶׂק'E.sekH6230;because they stroveהִֽתְעַשְּׂק֖וּhit.'a.se.KuH6229with him.

21And they diggedוַֽיַּחְפְּרוּ֙vai.yach.pe.RuH2658anotherאַחֶ֔רֶת'a.Che.retH312wellבְּאֵ֣רbe.'ErH875,and stroveוַיָּרִ֖יבוּvai.ya.Ri.vuH7378for that also: and he calledוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121the name of itשְׁמָ֖הּshe.MahH8034Sitnahשִׂטְנָֽה׃sit.NahH7856.

22And he removedוַיַּעְתֵּ֣קvai.ya'.TekH6275from thence, and diggedוַיַּחְפֹּר֙vai.yach.PorH2658anotherאַחֶ֔רֶת'a.Che.retH312wellבְּאֵ֣רbe.'ErH875;and for that they stroveרָב֖וּra.VuH7378not: and he calledוַיִּקְרָ֤אvai.yik.Ra'H7121the name of itשְׁמָהּ֙she.MahH8034Rehobothרְחֹב֔וֹתre.cho.VotH7344;and he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,For nowעַתָּ֞ה'a.TahH6258Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068hath made roomהִרְחִ֧יבhir.ChivH7337for us, and we shall be fruitfulוּפָרִ֥ינוּu.fa.Ri.nuH6509in the landבָאָֽרֶץ׃va.'A.retzH776.

23And he went upוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927from thence to Beer–shebaH884.
