26Surely I have seenרָאִ֤יתִיra.'I.tiH7200yesterdayאֶ֙מֶשׁ֙'e.meshH570the bloodדְּמֵ֣יde.MeiH1818of Nabothנָבוֹת֩na.VotH5022,and the bloodדְּמֵ֨יde.MeiH1818of his sonsבָנָ֜יוva.NavH1121,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002 Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;and I will requiteוְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֥יve.shi.lam.TiH7999thee in this platבַּחֶלְקָ֥הba.chel.KahH2513,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002 Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.Now therefore takeשָׂ֧אsa'H5375andcastהַשְׁלִכֵ֛הוּhash.li.Khe.huH7993him into the platבַּחֶלְקָ֖הba.chel.KahH2513of ground,according to the wordכִּדְבַ֥רkid.VarH1697of Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

27But when Ahaziahוַאֲחַזְיָ֤הva.'a.chaz.YahH274the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063sawרָאָ֔הra.'AhH7200this,he fledוַיָּ֕נָסvai.Ya.nosH5127by the wayדֶּ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870of the gardenהַגָּ֑ןha.GanH1588houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004.And Jehuיֵה֗וּאye.Hu'H3058followedוַיִּרְדֹּ֨ףvai.yir.DofH7291afterאַחֲרָ֜יו'a.cha.RavH310him, and saidוַ֠יֹּאמֶרVai.yo.merH559,Smiteהַכֻּ֣הוּha.Ku.huH5221him also in the chariotהַמֶּרְכָּבָ֗הha.mer.ka.VahH4818. And they did soat the going upבְּמַֽעֲלֵה־be.ma.'a.leh-H4608to Gurגוּר֙gurH1483, which isby Ibleamיִבְלְעָ֔םyiv.le.'AmH2991.And he fledוַיָּ֥נָסvai.Ya.nosH5127to Megiddoמְגִדּ֖וֹme.gi.DoH4023,and diedוַיָּ֥מָתvai.Ya.motH4191there.

28And his servantsעֲבָדָ֖יו'a.va.DavH5650carriedוַיַּרְכִּ֧בוּvai.yar.Ki.vuH7392him in a chariot to Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלְָ֑מָהye.ru.sha.Le.mahH3389,and buriedוַיִּקְבְּר֨וּvai.yik.be.RuH6912him in his sepulchreבִקְבֻרָת֛וֹvik.vu.ra.ToH6900with his fathersאֲבֹתָ֖יו'a.vo.TavH1in the cityבְּעִ֥ירbe.'IrH5892of Davidדָּוִֽד׃ פda.VidH1732.

29And in the eleventhוּבִשְׁנַת֙ אַחַ֣ת עֶשְׂרֵ֣הu.vish.Nat 'a.Chat 'es.RehH8141 H6240 H259yearשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141of Joramלְיוֹרָ֖םle.yo.RamH3141the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Ahabאַחְאָ֑ב'ach.'AvH256began Ahaziahאֲחַזְיָ֖ה'a.chaz.YahH274to reignמָלַ֥ךְma.LakhH4427over Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.

30And when Jehuיֵה֖וּאye.Hu'H3058was comeוַיָּב֥וֹאvai.ya.Vo'H935to Jezreelיִזְרְעֶ֑אלָהyiz.re.'E.lahH3157,Jezebelוְאִיזֶ֣בֶלve.'i.Ze.velH348heardשָׁמְעָ֗הsha.me.'AhH8085of it;and she paintedוַתָּ֨שֶׂם בַּפּ֤וּךְva.Ta.sem ba.PukhH6320 H7760her faceעֵינֶ֙יהָ֙'ei.Nei.haH5869,and tiredוַתֵּ֣יטֶבva.Tei.tevH3190her headרֹאשָׁ֔הּro.ShahH7218,and looked outוַתַּשְׁקֵ֖ףva.tash.KefH8259at a windowהַחַלּֽוֹן׃ha.cha.LonH2474.

31And as Jehuוְיֵה֖וּאve.ye.Hu'H3058entered inבָּ֣אba'H935at the gateבַשָּׁ֑עַרva.Sha.'arH8179,she saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559, HadZimriזִמְרִ֖יzim.RiH2174peaceהֲשָׁל֔וֹםha.sha.LomH7965,who slewהֹרֵ֥גho.RegH2026his masterאֲדֹנָֽיו׃'a.do.NavH113?

32And he lifted upוַיִּשָּׂ֤אvai.yi.Sa'H5375his faceפָנָיו֙fa.NavH6440to the windowהַ֣חַלּ֔וֹןha.cha.LonH2474,and saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Who ison my side? who? And there looked outוַיַּשְׁקִ֣יפוּvai.yash.Ki.fuH8259to him twoשְׁנַ֥יִםshe.Na.yimH8147orthreeשְׁלֹשָׁ֖הshe.lo.ShahH7969eunuchsסָרִיסִֽים׃sa.ri.SimH5631.

33And he saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Throw her downשִׁמְט֖וּהָshim.tu.hH8058.So they threw her downוַֽיִּשְׁמְט֑וּהָvai.yish.me.Tu.haH8058: and someof her bloodמִדָּמָ֧הּmi.da.MahH1818was sprinkledוַיִּ֨זvai.YizH5137on the wallהַקִּ֛ירha.KirH7023,and on the horsesהַסּוּסִ֖יםha.su.SimH5483:and he trode her under footוַֽיִּרְמְסֶֽנָּה׃Vai.yir.me.Se.nahH7429.

34And when he was come inוַיָּבֹ֖אvai.ya.Vo'H935,he did eatוַיֹּ֣אכַלvai.Yo.khalH398and drinkוַיֵּ֑שְׁתְּvai.Ye.shetH8354,and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Goפִּקְדוּ־pik.du-H6485,see now this cursedהָאֲרוּרָ֤הha.'a.ru.RahH779woman,and buryוְקִבְר֔וּהָve.kiv.Ru.haH6912her: for she isa king’sמֶ֖לֶךְMe.lekhH4428daughterבַת־vat-H1323.

35And they wentH3212to buryלְקָבְרָ֑הּle.ka.ve.RahH6912her: but they foundמָ֣צְאוּMa.tze.'uH4672no more of her thanאִם־'im-H518the skullהַגֻּלְגֹּ֛לֶתha.gul.Go.letH1538,and the feetוְהָרַגְלַ֖יִםve.ha.rag.La.yimH7272,and the palmsוְכַפּ֥וֹתve.kha.PotH3709of herhandsהַיָּדָֽיִם׃hai.ya.Da.yimH3027.

36Wherefore they came againוַיָּשֻׁבוּ֮vai.ya.shu.VuH7725,and toldוַיַּגִּ֣ידוּvai.ya.Gi.duH5046him. And he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, This isthe wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068,which he spakeדִּבֶּ֗רdi.BerH1696byבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027his servantעַבְדּ֛וֹav.DoH5650Elijahאֵלִיָּ֥הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452the Tishbiteהַתִּשְׁבִּ֖יha.tish.BiH8664,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,In the portionבְּחֵ֣לֶקbe.Che.lekH2506of Jezreelיִזְרְעֶ֔אלyiz.re.'ElH3157shall dogsהַכְּלָבִ֖יםha.ke.la.VimH3611eatיֹאכְל֥וּyo.khe.LuH398the fleshבְּשַׂ֥רbe.SarH1320of Jezebelאִיזָֽבֶל׃'i.Za.velH348:
