And Ahaziahוַֽאֲחַזְיָה֙va.'a.chaz.YahH274kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063was come downיָרַ֖דya.RadH3381to seeלִרְא֥וֹתlir.'otH7200Joramיוֹרָֽם׃yo.RamH3141.

17And there stoodעֹמֵ֨ד'o.MedH5975a watchmanוְהַצֹּפֶה֩ve.ha.tzo.PehH6822on the towerהַמִּגְדָּ֜לha.mig.DalH4026in Jezreelבְּיִזְרְעֶ֗אלbe.yiz.re.'ElH3157,and he spiedוַיַּ֞רְאvai.Yar'H7200the companyשִׁפְעַ֤תshif.'AtH8229of Jehuיֵהוּא֙ye.Hu'H3058as he cameבְּבֹא֔וֹbe.vo.'OH935,and saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,I seeרֹאֶ֑הro.'EhH7200a companyשִׁפְעַ֖תshif.'AtH8229.And Joramיְהוֹרָ֗םye.ho.RamH3088saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Takeקַ֥חkachH3947an horsemanרַכָּ֛בra.KavH7395,and sendוּֽשְׁלַ֥חu.she.LachH7971to meetH7125them, and let him sayוְיֹאמַ֥רve.yo.MarH559, Is itpeaceהֲשָׁלֽוֹם׃ha.sha.LomH7965?

22And it came to pass, when Joramיְהוֹרָם֙ye.ho.RamH3088sawכִּרְא֤וֹתkir.'otH7200Jehuיֵה֔וּאye.Hu'H3058,that he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Is itpeaceהֲשָׁל֣וֹםha.sha.LomH7965,Jehuיֵה֑וּאye.Hu'H3058?And he answeredוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559,What peaceהַשָּׁל֔וֹםha.sha.LomH7965,so long asעַד־'ad-H5704the whoredomsזְנוּנֵ֞יze.nu.NeiH2183of thy motherאִמְּךָ֛'i.me.KhaH517Jezebelאִיזֶ֧בֶל'i.Ze.velH348and her witchcraftsוּכְשָׁפֶ֖יהָu.khe.sha.Fei.haH3785are somanyהָרַבִּֽים׃ha.ra.BimH7227?

23And Joramיְהוֹרָ֛םye.ho.RamH3088turnedוַיַּהֲפֹ֧ךְvai.ya.ha.FokhH2015his handsיָדָ֖יוya.DavH3027,and fledוַיָּנֹ֑סvai.ya.NosH5127,and saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Ahaziahאֲחַזְיָ֖הוּ'a.chaz.Ya.huH274, There istreacheryמִרְמָ֥הmir.MahH4820,O Ahaziahאֲחַזְיָֽה׃'a.chaz.YahH274.

24And Jehuוְיֵה֞וּאve.ye.Hu'H3058drew a bowבַקֶּ֗שֶׁתva.Ke.shetH7198with his fullמִלֵּ֧אmi.Le'H4390strengthיָד֣וֹya.DoH3027,and smoteוַיַּ֤ךְvai.YakhH5221Jehoramיְהוֹרָם֙ye.ho.RamH3088between his armsזְרֹעָ֔יוze.ro.'AvH2220,and the arrowהַחֵ֖צִיha.Che.tziH2678went outוַיֵּצֵ֥אvai.ye.Tze'H3318at his heartמִלִּבּ֑וֹmi.li.BoH3820,and he sunk downוַיִּכְרַ֖עvai.yikh.Ra'H3766in his chariotבְּרִכְבּֽוֹ׃be.rikh.BoH7393.

27But when Ahaziahוַאֲחַזְיָ֤הva.'a.chaz.YahH274the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063sawרָאָ֔הra.'AhH7200this,he fledוַיָּ֕נָסvai.Ya.nosH5127by the wayדֶּ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870of the gardenהַגָּ֑ןha.GanH1588houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004.And Jehuיֵה֗וּאye.Hu'H3058followedוַיִּרְדֹּ֨ףvai.yir.DofH7291afterאַחֲרָ֜יו'a.cha.RavH310him, and saidוַ֠יֹּאמֶרVai.yo.merH559,Smiteהַכֻּ֣הוּha.Ku.huH5221him also in the chariotהַמֶּרְכָּבָ֗הha.mer.ka.VahH4818. 28And his servantsעֲבָדָ֖יו'a.va.DavH5650carriedוַיַּרְכִּ֧בוּvai.yar.Ki.vuH7392him in a chariot to Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלְָ֑מָהye.ru.sha.Le.mahH3389,and buriedוַיִּקְבְּר֨וּvai.yik.be.RuH6912him in his sepulchreבִקְבֻרָת֛וֹvik.vu.ra.ToH6900with his fathersאֲבֹתָ֖יו'a.vo.TavH1in the cityבְּעִ֥ירbe.'IrH5892of Davidדָּוִֽד׃ פda.VidH1732.

30And when Jehuיֵה֖וּאye.Hu'H3058was comeוַיָּב֥וֹאvai.ya.Vo'H935to Jezreelיִזְרְעֶ֑אלָהyiz.re.'E.lahH3157,Jezebelוְאִיזֶ֣בֶלve.'i.Ze.velH348heardשָׁמְעָ֗הsha.me.'AhH8085of it;and she paintedוַתָּ֨שֶׂם בַּפּ֤וּךְva.Ta.sem ba.PukhH6320 H7760her faceעֵינֶ֙יהָ֙'ei.Nei.haH5869,and tiredוַתֵּ֣יטֶבva.Tei.tevH3190her headרֹאשָׁ֔הּro.ShahH7218,and looked outוַתַּשְׁקֵ֖ףva.tash.KefH8259at a windowהַחַלּֽוֹן׃ha.cha.LonH2474.

31And as Jehuוְיֵה֖וּאve.ye.Hu'H3058entered inבָּ֣אba'H935at the gateבַשָּׁ֑עַרva.Sha.'arH8179,she saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559, HadZimriזִמְרִ֖יzim.RiH2174peaceהֲשָׁל֔וֹםha.sha.LomH7965,who slewהֹרֵ֥גho.RegH2026his masterאֲדֹנָֽיו׃'a.do.NavH113?

32And he lifted upוַיִּשָּׂ֤אvai.yi.Sa'H5375his faceפָנָיו֙fa.NavH6440to the windowהַ֣חַלּ֔וֹןha.cha.LonH2474,and saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Who ison my side? who? And there looked outוַיַּשְׁקִ֣יפוּvai.yash.Ki.fuH8259to him twoשְׁנַ֥יִםshe.Na.yimH8147orthreeשְׁלֹשָׁ֖הshe.lo.ShahH7969eunuchsסָרִיסִֽים׃sa.ri.SimH5631.

34And when he was come inוַיָּבֹ֖אvai.ya.Vo'H935,he did eatוַיֹּ֣אכַלvai.Yo.khalH398and drinkוַיֵּ֑שְׁתְּvai.Ye.shetH8354,and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Goפִּקְדוּ־pik.du-H6485,see now this cursedהָאֲרוּרָ֤הha.'a.ru.RahH779woman,and buryוְקִבְר֔וּהָve.kiv.Ru.haH6912her: for she isa king’sמֶ֖לֶךְMe.lekhH4428daughterבַת־vat-H1323.
