2And he wroughtוַיַּעֲשֶׂ֤הvai.ya.'a.SehH6213evilהָרַע֙ha.Ra'H7451in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;but not like his fatherכְאָבִ֖יוkhe.'a.VivH1,and like his motherוּכְאִמּ֑וֹu.khe.'i.MoH517:for he put awayוַיָּ֙סַר֙vai.Ya.sarH5493the imageמַצְּבַ֣תma.tze.VatH4676of Baalהַבַּ֔עַלha.Ba.'alH1168that his fatherאָבִֽיו׃'a.VivH1had madeעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213.

3Nevertheless he cleavedדָּבֵ֑קda.VekH1692unto the sinsבְּחַטֹּ֞אותbe.cha.TotH2403of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֧םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379the sonבֶּֽן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָ֛טne.VatH5028,which made Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478to sinהֶחֱטִ֥יאhe.che.Ti'H2398;he departedסָ֖רsarH5493not therefrom.
