3For he built upוַיִּ֙בֶן֙vai.Yi.venH1129againוַיָּ֗שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725the high placesהַבָּמ֔וֹתha.ba.MotH1116which Hezekiahחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּchiz.ki.Ya.huH2396his fatherאָבִ֑יו'a.VivH1had destroyedאִבַּ֖ד'i.BadH6;and he reared upוַיָּ֨קֶםvai.Ya.kemH6965altarsמִזְבְּחֹ֜תmiz.be.ChotH4196for Baalלַבַּ֗עַלla.Ba.'alH1168,and madeוַיַּ֤עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213a groveאֲשֵׁרָה֙'a.she.RahH842,as didעָשָׂ֗ה'a.SahH6213Ahabאַחְאָב֙'ach.'AvH256kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;and worshippedוַיִּשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙vai.yish.Ta.chuH7812all the hostצְבָ֣אtze.Va'H6635of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and servedוַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖דvai.ya.'a.VodH5647them.

4And he builtוּבָנָ֥הu.va.NahH1129altarsמִזְבְּחֹ֖תmiz.be.ChotH4196in the houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,of which Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559,In Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389will I putאָשִׂ֥ים'a.SimH7760my nameשְׁמִֽי׃she.MiH8034.

5And he builtוַיִּ֥בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129altarsמִזְבְּח֖וֹתmiz.be.ChotH4196for all the hostצְבָ֣אtze.Va'H6635of heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064in the twoבִּשְׁתֵּ֖יbish.TeiH8147courtsחַצְר֥וֹתchatz.RotH2691of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

6And he made his sonבְּנוֹ֙be.NoH1121passוְהֶעֱבִ֤ירve.he.'e.VirH5674through the fireבָּאֵ֔שׁba.'EshH784,and observed timesוְעוֹנֵ֣ןve.'o.NenH6049,and used enchantmentsוְנִחֵ֔שׁve.ni.CheshH5172,and dealtוְעָ֥שָׂהve.'A.sahH6213with familiar spiritsא֖וֹב'ovH178and wizardsוְיִדְּעֹנִ֑יםve.yi.de.'o.NimH3049:he wroughtלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213muchהִרְבָּ֗הhir.BahH7235wickednessהָרַ֛עha.Ra'H7451in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֥יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, to provoke himto angerלְהַכְעִֽיס׃le.hakh.'IsH3707.

7And he setוַיָּ֕שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760a graven imageפֶּ֥סֶלPe.selH6459of the groveהָאֲשֵׁרָ֖הha.'a.she.RahH842that he had madeעָשָׂ֑ה'a.SahH6213in the houseבַּבַּ֗יִתba.Ba.yitH1004,of which Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559to Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732,and to Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֣הshe.lo.MohH8010his sonבְנ֔וֹve.NoH1121,In this houseבַּבַּ֨יִתba.Ba.yitH1004,and in Jerusalemוּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֗םu.vi.ru.sha.LimH3389,which I have chosenבָּחַ֙רְתִּי֙ba.Char.tiH977out of all tribesשִׁבְטֵ֣יshiv.TeiH7626of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,will I putאָשִׂ֥ים'a.SimH7760my nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034for everלְעוֹלָֽם׃le.'o.LamH5769:

8Neither will I make the feetרֶ֣גֶלRe.gelH7272of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478moveלְהָנִיד֙le.ha.NidH5110any moreאֹסִ֗יף'o.SifH3254out of the landהָ֣אֲדָמָ֔הha.'a.da.MahH127which I gaveנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414their fathersלַֽאֲבוֹתָ֑םla.'a.vo.TamH1;only if they will observeיִשְׁמְר֣וּyish.me.RuH8104to doלַעֲשׂ֗וֹתla.'a.SotH6213according to all that I have commandedצִוִּיתִ֔יםtzi.vi.TimH6680them, and according to all the lawהַ֨תּוֹרָ֔הha.to.RahH8451that my servantעַבְדִּ֥י'av.DiH5650Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃mo.ShehH4872commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680them.

9But they hearkenedשָׁמֵ֑עוּsha.Me.'uH8085not: and Manassehמְנַשֶּׁה֙me.na.ShehH4519seducedוַיַּתְעֵ֤םvai.yat.'EmH8582them to doלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213more evilהָרָ֔עha.Ra'H7451than did the nationsהַ֨גּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471whom Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068destroyedהִשְׁמִ֣ידhish.MidH8045beforeמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH6440the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

10And Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֧רvay.da.BerH1696byבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027his servantsעֲבָדָ֥יו'a.va.DavH5650the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

11Because Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֤הme.na.ShehH4519kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063hath doneעָשָׂ֜ה'a.SahH6213these abominationsהַתֹּעֵב֣וֹתha.to.'e.VotH8441, andhath done wickedlyהֵרַ֕עhe.Ra'H7489above all that the Amoritesהָאֱמֹרִ֖יha.'e.mo.RiH567didעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213, which werebeforeלְפָנָ֑יוle.fa.NavH6440him, and hath made Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063also to sinוַיַּחֲטִ֥אvai.ya.cha.Ti'H2398with his idolsבְּגִלּוּלָֽיו׃ פbe.gi.lu.LavH1544:

12Therefore thus saithאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, Behold, I ambringingמֵבִ֣יאme.Vi'H935suchevilרָעָ֔הra.'AhH7451upon Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389and Judahוִֽיהוּדָ֑הvi.hu.DahH3063,that whosoever hearethשֹׁ֣מְעָ֔הּsho.me.'ahH8085of it, bothשְׁתֵּ֥יshe.TeiH8147his earsאָזְנָֽיו׃'a.ze.NavH241shall tingleתִּצַּ֖לְנָהti.Tzal.nahH6750.

13And I will stretchוְנָטִ֣יתִיve.na.Ti.tiH5186over Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֗םye.ru.sha.LimH3389the lineקָ֣וkavH6957of Samariaשֹֽׁמְר֔וֹןsho.me.RonH8111,and the plummetמִשְׁקֹ֖לֶתmish.Ko.letH4949of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Ahabאַחְאָ֑ב'ach.'AvH256:and I will wipeוּמָחִ֨יתִיu.ma.Chi.tiH4229Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֜םye.ru.sha.LimH3389as a manwipethיִמְחֶ֤הyim.ChehH4229a dishהַצַּלַּ֙חַת֙ha.tza.La.chatH6747,wipingמָחָ֔הma.ChahH4229it,and turningוְהָפַ֖ךְve.ha.FakhH2015itupside downפָּנֶֽיהָ׃pa.Nei.haH6440.

14And I will forsakeוְנָטַשְׁתִּ֗יve.na.tash.TiH5203the remnantשְׁאֵרִ֣יתshe.'e.RitH7611of mine inheritanceנַחֲלָתִ֔יna.cha.la.TiH5159,and deliverוּנְתַתִּ֖יםu.ne.ta.TimH5414them into the handבְּיַ֣דbe.YadH3027of their enemiesאֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֑ם'o.ye.vei.HemH341;and they shall become a preyלְבַ֛זle.VazH957and a spoilוְלִמְשִׁסָּ֖הve.lim.shi.SahH4933to all their enemiesאֹיְבֵיהֶֽם׃'o.ye.vei.HemH341;

15Because they have doneעָשׂ֤וּ'a.SuH6213that which wasevilהָרַע֙ha.Ra'H7451in my sightבְּעֵינַ֔יbe.'ei.NaiH5869,and have provokedמִן־min-H4480me to angerמַכְעִסִ֖יםmakh.'i.SimH3707,since the dayהַיּ֗וֹםhai.YomH3117their fathersאֲבוֹתָם֙'a.vo.TamH1came forthיָצְא֤וּya.tze.'UH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֔יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,even unto this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.
