35And the battleהַמִּלְחָמָה֙ha.mil.cha.MahH4421increasedוַתַּעֲלֶ֤הva.ta.'a.LehH5927that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117:and the kingוְהַמֶּ֗לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428was stayed upמָעֳמָ֛דmo.'o.MadH5975in his chariotבַּמֶּרְכָּבָ֖הba.mer.ka.VahH4818againstנֹ֣כַחNo.khachH5227the Syriansאֲרָ֑ם'a.RamH758,and diedוַיָּ֣מָתvai.Ya.motH4191at evenבָּעֶ֔רֶבba.'E.revH6153:and the bloodדַּֽם־dam-H1818ran outוַיִּ֥צֶקvai.Yi.tzekH3332of the woundהַמַּכָּ֖הha.ma.KahH4347into the midstחֵ֥יקcheikH2436of the chariotהָרָֽכֶב׃ha.Ra.khevH7393.

36And there wentוַיַּעֲבֹ֤רvai.ya.'a.VorH5674a proclamationהָרִנָּה֙ha.ri.NahH7440throughout the armyבַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֔הba.ma.cha.NehH4264about the going downכְּבֹ֥אke.Vo'H935of the sunהַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁha.She.meshH8121,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Every manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376to his cityעִיר֖וֹi.RoH5892,and every manוְאִ֥ישׁve.'IshH376to his own countryאַרְצֽוֹ׃'ar.TzoH776.

37So the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428diedוַיָּ֣מָתvai.Ya.motH4191,and was broughtוַיָּב֖וֹאvai.ya.Vo'H935to Samariaשֹׁמְר֑וֹןsho.me.RonH8111;and they buriedוַיִּקְבְּר֥וּvai.yik.be.RuH6912the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428in Samariaבְּשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃be.sho.me.RonH8111.

38And onewashedוַיִּשְׁטֹ֨ףvai.yish.TofH7857the chariotהָרֶ֜כֶבha.Re.khevH7393in the poolבְּרֵכַ֣תbe.re.KhatH1295of Samariaשֹׁמְר֗וֹןsho.me.RonH8111;and the dogsהַכְּלָבִים֙ha.ke.la.VimH3611licked upוַיָּלֹ֤קּוּvai.ya.Lo.kuH3952his bloodדָּמ֔וֹda.MoH1818;and they washedרָחָ֑צוּra.Cha.tzuH7364his armourH2185;according unto the wordכִּדְבַ֥רkid.VarH1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068which he spakeדִּבֵּֽר׃di.BerH1696.
