14He saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559moreover, I have somewhat to sayדָּבָ֥רda.VarH1697unto thee. And she saidוַתֹּ֖אמֶרva.To.merH559,Say onדַּבֵּֽר׃da.BerH1696.

15And he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Thou knowestיָדַ֙עַתְּ֙ya.Da.'atH3045that the kingdomהַמְּלוּכָ֔הha.me.lu.KhahH4410was mine, and thatall Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478setשָׂ֧מוּSa.muH7760their facesפְּנֵיהֶ֖םpe.nei.HemH6440on me, that I should reignלִמְלֹ֑ךְlim.LokhH4427:howbeit the kingdomהַמְּלוּכָה֙ha.me.lu.KhahH4410is turned aboutוַתִּסֹּ֤בva.ti.SoH5437,and is become my brother’sלְאָחִ֔יle.'a.ChiH251:for it was his from Yhwhמֵיְהוָ֖הme.Yah.wehH3068.

16And now I askשֹׁאֵ֣לsho.'ElH7592oneאַחַת֙'a.ChatH259petitionשְׁאֵלָ֤הshe.'e.LahH7596of thee, denyתָּשִׁ֖בִיta.Shi.viH7725meפָּנָ֑יpa.NaiH6440not. And she saidוַתֹּ֥אמֶרva.To.merH559unto him, Say onדַּבֵּֽר׃da.BerH1696.

17And he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Speakאִמְרִי־'im.ri-H559,I pray thee, unto Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֣הlish.lo.MohH8010the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428, (for he will not sayH7725theeפָּנָ֑יִךְpa.Na.yikhH6440nayH7725,)that he giveוְיִתֶּן־ve.yi.ten-H5414me Abishagאֲבִישַׁ֥ג'a.vi.ShagH49the Shunammiteהַשּׁוּנַמִּ֖יתha.shu.na.MitH7767to wifeלְאִשָּֽׁה׃le.'i.ShahH802.

18And Bath–shebaH1339saidוַתֹּ֥אמֶרva.To.merH559,Wellט֑וֹבTovH2896;I will speakאֲדַבֵּ֥ר'a.da.BerH1696for thee unto the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.
