Titus 2:1-10
But as for you, proclaim the things which are fitting for 1sound doctrine. 22Older men are to be 34temperate, dignified, self-controlled, 5sound 6in faith, in love, in 7perseverance.
Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, 8not malicious gossips nor 9enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4so that they may 10encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5to be sensible, pure, 11workers at home, kind, being 12subject to their own husbands, 13so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
Likewise urge 14the young men to be 15sensible; 7in all things show yourself to be 16an example of good deeds, with 17purity in doctrine, dignified, 8sound in speech which is beyond reproach, 18so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.
Urge 1920slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not 21argumentative, 10not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of 22God our Savior in every respect.
