Judges 7:11-22
11so that you will hearH8085 whatH4100 they sayH1696; and 1afterwardH310 2you will haveH2388 the courageH3027H2388 to goH3381 downH3381 against the campH4264.” So he wentH3381 downH3381 with PurahH6513 his servantH5288 to the 3outpostsH7097 of the armyH2571 that was in the campH4264. 12Now the MidianitesH4080, the AmalekitesH6002, and allH3605 the 4peopleH1121 of the eastH6924 were lyingH5307 in the valleyH6010 5as numerousH7230 as locustsH697; and their camelsH1581 were withoutH369 numberH4557, 6as numerousH7230 as the sandH2344 on the seashoreH3220H8193. 13When GideonH1439 cameH935, beholdH2009, a manH376 was relatingH5608 a dreamH2472 to his friendH7453. And he saidH559, “BeholdH2009, I 7hadH2492 a dreamH2472; 8a loafH6742 of barleyH8184 breadH3899 was tumblingH2015 into the campH4264 of MidianH4080, and it cameH935 to the tentH168 and struckH5221 it so that it fellH5307, and turnedH2015 it 9upsideH4605 downH4605 so that the tentH168 collapsedH5307.” 14And his friendH7453 repliedH6030, “ThisH2088 is nothingH369 otherH1115H518 thanH1115H518 the swordH2719 of GideonH1439 the sonH1121 of JoashH3060, a manH376 of IsraelH3478; GodH430 has 10handedH5414H3027 overH5414 to him MidianH4080 and allH3605 the campH4264.”
15When GideonH1439 heardH8085 the accountH4557 of the dreamH2472 and its interpretationH7667, he bowedH2331 inH2331 worshipH2331. Then he returnedH7725 to the campH4264 of IsraelH3478 and saidH559, “AriseH6965, for the LordH3068 has handedH5414H3027 overH5414 to you the campH4264 of MidianH4080!” 16And he dividedH2673 the threeH7969 hundredH3967 menH376 into threeH7969 11unitsH7218, and he putH5414 trumpetsH7782 and emptyH7386 pitchersH3537 into the handsH3027 of allH3605 of them, with torchesH3940 insideH8432 the pitchersH3537. 17Then he saidH559 to them, “LookH7200 at me and doH6213 likewiseH3651. And beholdH2009, when I comeH935 to the outskirtsH7097 of the campH4264, 12doH6213 as I doH6213. 18When I and allH3605 whoH834 are with me blowH8628 the trumpetH7782, then you alsoH1571 blowH8628 the trumpetsH7782 aroundH5439 the entireH3605 campH4264 and sayH559, ‘For the LordH3068 and for GideonH1439!’”
19So GideonH1439 and the hundredH3967 menH376 whoH834 were with him cameH935 to the outskirtsH7097 of the campH4264 at the beginningH7218 of the middleH8484 nightH821 watchH821, whenH389 they had justH389 postedH6965 the watchH8104; and they blewH8628 the trumpetsH7782 and smashedH5310 the pitchersH3537 that were in their handsH3027. 20When the threeH7969 13unitsH7218 blewH8628 the trumpetsH7782 and brokeH7665 the pitchersH3537, they heldH2388 the torchesH3940 in their leftH8040 handsH3027 and the trumpetsH7782 in their rightH3225 handsH3027 for blowingH8628, and shoutedH7121, “A swordH2719 for the LordH3068 and for GideonH1439!” 21And eachH376 stoodH5975 inH8478 his placeH8478 aroundH5439 the campH4264; and 14allH3605 the 15armyH4264 ranH7323, cryingH7321 outH7321 as they fledH5127. 22And when they blewH8628 the threeH7969 hundredH3967 trumpetsH7782, the 16LordH3068 setH7760 the swordH2719 of oneH376 against anotherH7453 even throughoutH3605 the entireH3605 17armyH4264; and the 18armyH4264 fledH5127 as farH5704 as Beth-shittahH1029 toward ZererahH6888, as farH5704 as the edgeH8193 of 19Abel-meholahH65, by TabbathH2888.
