1Now 1the angelH4397 of the LordH3068 cameH5927 upH5927 from GilgalH1537 to 2BochimH1066. And he saidH559, “3I broughtH5927 you upH5927 out of EgyptH4714 and ledH935 you into the landH776 whichH834 I have swornH7650 to your fathersH1; and I saidH559, ‘4I will neverH3808H5769 breakH6565 My covenantH1285 with you, 2and as for you, 5you shall not makeH3772 a covenantH1285 with the inhabitantsH3427 of thisH2088 landH776; 6you shall tearH5422 downH5422 their altarsH4196.’ But you have not 7obeyedH8085H6963 Me; whatH4100 is thisH2088 thing that you have doneH6213? 3Therefore I alsoH1571 saidH559, ‘8I will not driveH1644 them outH1644 from you; but they will 9becomeH1961 10like thorns in your sidesH6654, and their godsH430 will be a snareH4170 to you.’” 4Now when the angelH4397 of the LordH3068 spokeH1696 theseH428 wordsH1697 to allH3605 the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478, the peopleH5971 raisedH5375 their voicesH6963 and weptH1058. 5So they namedH7121H8034 that placeH4725 11BochimH1066; and thereH8033 they sacrificedH2076 to the LordH3068.
