Revised Version 1895
Judges 2:1-5
1And the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 cameH935 upH5927 from GilgalH1537 to BochimH1066. And he saidH559, I madeH7650 youH834 to goH935 upH5927 outH4480 of EgyptH4714, and have broughtH935 youH834 unto the landH776 whichH834 I sware unto your fathersH1; and I saidH559, I will neverH3808 breakH6565 my covenantH1285 with youH834:
2and ye shall makeH6213 noH3808 covenantH1285 with the inhabitantsH3427 of this landH776; ye shall breakH5422 downH5422 their altarsH4196: but ye have notH3808 hearkened unto my voiceH6963: whyH4100 have ye doneH6213 this?
3Wherefore I also saidH559, I will notH3808 driveH1644 them outH1644 from beforeH6440 youH6440; but they shall be as thorns in your sidesH6654, and their godsH430 shall be a snareH4170 unto youH6440.
4And it cameH1961 to passH1961, when the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 spake theseH428 wordsH1697 unto allH3605 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that the peopleH5971 liftedH5375 upH5375 their voiceH6963, and weptH1058.
5And they calledH7121 the nameH8034 of that placeH4725 BochimH1066: and they sacrificedH2076 there unto the LORDH3068.
