Joshua 10:24-28

24When they broughtH3318 theseH428 kingsH4428 outH3318 to JoshuaH3091, JoshuaH3091 calledH7121 for allH3605 the menH376 of IsraelH3478, and saidH559 to the leadersH7101 of the menH376 of warH4421 who had goneH1980 with him, “ComeH7126 forwardH7126, 1putH7760 your feetH7272 on the necksH6677 of theseH428 kingsH4428.” So they cameH7126 forwardH7126 and putH7760 their feetH7272 on their necksH6677. 25JoshuaH3091 then saidH559 to them, “2Do not fearH3372 or be dismayedH2865! Be strongH2388 and courageousH553, for the LordH3068 will doH6213 thisH3602 to allH3605 your enemiesH340 with whomH834 you fightH3898.” 26So afterwardH310H3651 JoshuaH3091 struckH5221 them and putH4191 them toH4191 deathH4191, and he 3hangedH8518 them on fiveH2568 4treesH6086; and they were hungH8518 on the 5treesH6086 untilH5704 eveningH6153. 27Then it cameH1961 aboutH1961 at 6sunsetH8121H935 that JoshuaH3091 gaveH6680 the commandH6680, and 7they tookH3381 them downH3381 from the 8treesH6086 and threwH7993 them into the caveH4631 whereH834H8033 they had hiddenH2244 themselves, and putH7760 largeH1419 stonesH68 overH5921 the mouthH6310 of the caveH4631, to thisH2088 veryH6106 dayH3117.

28Now JoshuaH3091 capturedH3920 MakkedahH4719 on that dayH3117, and struckH5221 it and its kingH4428 with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719; 9he 10utterlyH2763 destroyedH2763 11it and everyH3605 12personH5315 whoH834 was in it. He leftH7604 noH3808 survivorH8300. So he didH6213 to the kingH4428 of MakkedahH4719 13justH3512 asH3512 he had doneH6213 to the kingH4428 of JerichoH3405.
