2The more 12they calledH7121 them, The moreH3651 they wentH1980 awayH4480 from 3them; They kept 4sacrificingH2076 to the BaalsH1168 And 5burningH6999 incenseH6999 to idolsH6456.3Yet it is I who taughtH7270 EphraimH669 toH7270 walkH7270, 6I 7tookH3947 them in My armsH2220; But they did not knowH3045 that I 8healedH7495 them.4I 9pulledH4900 them alongH4900 with cordsH2256 of a manH120, with ropesH5688 of loveH160, And 10I becameH1961 to them as one who liftsH7311 the yokeH5923 from their jawsH3895; And I bentH5186 downH5186 and 11fedH398 them.
512They will not returnH7725 to the landH776 of EgyptH4714; But AssyriaH804--he will be 13their kingH4428 BecauseH3588 they 14refusedH3985 to returnH7725 to Me.6And the 15swordH2719 will whirlH2342 against 16their citiesH5892, And will destroyH3615 17their oracleH907 priestsH907 And 18consumeH3615 them, becauseH4480 of their 19counselsH4156.7So My peopleH5971 are determinedH8511 to 20turnH4878 from Me. Though 21they callH7121 22them to the One on highH5920, NoneH3808 atH3162 allH3162 exaltsH7311 Him.
