Revised Version 1895
Hosea 11:2-7
2As they calledH7121 them, soH3651 they wentH1980 from them: they sacrificedH2076 unto the Baalim, and burnedH6999 incenseH6999 to gravenH6456 imagesH6456.
3Yet I taughtH3045 EphraimH669 to go; I tookH3947 them on my armsH2220; but they knewH3045 notH3808 that I healedH7495 them.
4I drewH4900 them with cordsH5688 of a manH120, with bands of loveH160; and I was to them as they that takeH7311 offH5921 the yokeH5923 on their jawsH3895, and I laid meat beforeH413 them.
5He shall notH3808 returnH7725 intoH413 the landH776 of EgyptH4714; but the Assyrian shall be his kingH4428, becauseH3588 they refusedH3985 to returnH7725.
6And the swordH2719 shall fall upon his citiesH5892, and shall consumeH398 his barsH905, and devourH398 them, because of their own counselsH4156.
7And my peopleH5971 are bentH8511 to backsliding from meH413: though they callH7121 them to him that is on highH7311, noneH3808 at allH3162 will exaltH7311 him.
