Daniel 10:5-13
5I raisedH5375 my eyesH5869 and lookedH7200, and beholdH2009, there was a manH376 1dressedH3847 in linenH906, whose waistH4975 2hadH2296 aH2296 beltH2296 of pureH3800 3goldH3800 of UphazH210. 6His bodyH1472 also was like topazH8658, his faceH6440 4had the appearanceH4758 of lightningH1300, 5his eyesH5869 were like flamingH784 torchesH3940, his armsH2220 and feetH4772 like the gleamH5869 of polishedH7044 bronzeH5178, and the soundH6963 of his wordsH1697 like the soundH6963 of a multitudeH1995. 7Now I, DanielH1840, 6aloneH905 sawH7200 the visionH4759, while the 7menH376 whoH834 were with me did not seeH7200 the visionH4759; neverthelessH61, a greatH1419 8fearH2731 fellH5307 on them, and they ranH1272 awayH1272 to hideH2244 themselves. 8So I was 9leftH7604 aloneH905 and sawH7200 thisH2088 greatH1419 visionH4759; yet 10noH3808 strengthH3581 was leftH7604 in me, for my complexionH1935 turnedH2015 to 11a deathlyH4889 pallorH4889, and I retainedH6113 noH3808 strengthH3581. 9But I heardH8085 the soundH6963 of his wordsH1697; and as soon as I heardH8085 the soundH6963 of his wordsH1697, I 12fellH7290 intoH7290 a deepH7290 sleepH7290 on my faceH6440, with my faceH6440 to the groundH776.
10Then beholdH2009, a handH3027 13touchedH5060 me and shookH5128 me on my 14handsH3709H3027 and kneesH1290. 11And he saidH559 to me, “15DanielH1840, 16you whoH376 are treasuredH2536, 17understandH995 the wordsH1697 that I am about to tellH1696 you and 18standH5975 at your placeH5977, for I have nowH6258 been sentH7971 to you.” And when he had spokenH1696 thisH2088 wordH1697 to me, I stoodH5975 up 19tremblingH7460. 12Then he saidH559 to me, “20Do not beH3372 afraidH3372, DanielH1840, for from the firstH7223 dayH3117 that you setH5414 your heartH3820 on understandingH995 this and on 21humblingH6031 yourself beforeH6440 your GodH430, your wordsH1697 were heardH8085, and I have comeH935 22in response to your wordsH1697. 13But the princeH8269 of the kingdomH4438 of PersiaH6539 was standingH5975 23in my wayH5048 for twenty-oneH6242H259 daysH3117; then beholdH2009, 24MichaelH4317, oneH259 of the chiefH7223 princesH8269, cameH935 to helpH5826 me, for I had been leftH3498 thereH8033 with the kingsH4428 of PersiaH6539.
