Samuel 24:21-24
Then AraunahH728 saidH559, “WhyH4069 has my lordH113 the kingH4428 comeH935 to his servantH5650?” And DavidH1732 saidH559, “To buyH7069 the threshingH1637 floorH1637 from you, in order to buildH1129 an altarH4196 to the LordH3068, 1so that the plagueH4046 may be 2withdrawnH6113 from the peopleH5971.”
AraunahH728 then saidH559 to DavidH1732, “Let my lordH113 the kingH4428 takeH3947 and offerH5927 upH5927 whatH2896 isH2896 goodH2896 in his sightH5869. LookH7200, here are 3the oxenH1241 for the burntH5930 offeringH5930, the threshingH4173 sledgesH4173 and the yokesH3627 of the oxenH1241 for the woodH6086.
EverythingH3605, O kingH4428, AraunahH728 givesH5414 to the kingH4428.” And AraunahH728 saidH559 to the kingH4428, “May the LordH3068 your GodH430 beH7521 4favorableH7521 to you.”
However, the kingH4428 saidH559 to AraunahH728, “NoH3808, but I will certainlyH7069 buyH7069 it from you for a priceH4242; for 5I will not offerH5927 burntH5930 offeringsH5930 to the LordH3068 my GodH430 6thatH2600 costH2600 me nothingH2600.” So 7DavidH1732 boughtH7069 the threshingH1637 floorH1637 and the oxenH1241 for fiftyH2572 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701.
