Revelation 7:9-14

9After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from 1every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing 2before the throne and 3before the Lamb, clothed in 4white robes, and 5palm branches were in their hands; 10and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “6Salvation belongs to our God 7who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” 11And all the angels were standing 8around the throne and around 9the elders and the 10four living creatures; and they 11fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying, “12Amen, 13blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever. 14Amen.”

13Then one of the elders 15responded, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the 16white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?” 14I 17said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the 18great tribulation, and they have 19washed their robes and made them 20white in the 21blood of the Lamb.
