Revelation 5:1-7
1I saw 1in the right hand of Him who 2sat on the throne a 34scroll written inside and on the back, 5sealed up with seven seals. 2And I saw a 6strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?” 3And no one 7in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it. 4Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. 5And one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the 8Lion that is 9from the tribe of Judah, the 10Root of David, has overcome so as to be able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6And I saw 11between the throne (with the four living creatures) and 12the elders a 13Lamb standing, as if 14slaughtered, having seven 15horns and 16seven eyes, which are 1718the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7And He came and took 19the scroll out of the right hand of Him who 20sat on the throne.
