Revelation 4:4-11

41Around the throne were 2twenty-four thrones; and upon the thrones I saw 3twenty-four elders 4sitting, clothed in 5white garments, and 6golden crowns on their heads.

5Out from the throne came 7flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were 8seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are 910the seven spirits of God;

6and before the throne there was something like a 11sea of glass, like crystal; and in the 12center and 13around the throne, 14four living creatures 15full of eyes in front and behind.

716The first living creature was like a lion, the second creature like a calf, the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle.

8And the 17four living creatures, each one of them having 18six wings, are 19full of eyes around and within; and 20day and night 21they do not cease to say, “22Holy, holy, holy is the 23Lord God, the Almighty, 24who was and who is and who 25is to come.”

9And when the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to Him who 26sits on the throne, to 27Him who lives forever and ever,

10the 28twenty-four elders will 29fall down before Him who 30sits on the throne, and they will worship 31Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their 32crowns before the throne, saying,

11“33Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You 34created all things, and because of Your will they 35existed, and were created.”
