Revelation 21:19-27

191The foundation stones of the city wall were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was 2jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, 3emerald; 20the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, 4sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21And the twelve 5gates were twelve 6pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was 7pure gold, like transparent 8glass.

22I saw 9no 10temple in it, for the 11Lord God the Almighty and the 12Lamb are its 13temple. 23And the city 14has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for 15the glory of God has illuminated it, and its lamp is the 16Lamb. 2417The nations will walk by its light, and the 18kings of the earth 19will bring their glory into it. 25In the daytime (for 20there will be no night there) 21its gates 22will never be closed; 26and 23they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; 27and 24nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those 25whose names are 26written in the Lamb’s book of life.
