Revelation 21:12-22
121It had a great and high wall, 23with twelve 4gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on the gates, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. 13There were three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. 14And the wall of the city had 5twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the 6twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15The one who spoke with me had a 7gold measuring 8rod to measure the city, its 9gates, and its wall. 16The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the 10rod, 11twelve thousand stadia; its length, width, and height are equal. 17And he measured its wall, 12144 cubits, by 13human 14measurements, which are also 15angelic measurements. 18The material of the wall was 16jasper; and the city was 17pure gold, like 18clear 19glass. 1920The foundation stones of the city wall were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was 21jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, 22emerald; 20the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, 23sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21And the twelve 24gates were twelve 25pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was 26pure gold, like transparent 27glass.
22I saw 28no 29temple in it, for the 30Lord God the Almighty and the 31Lamb are its 32temple.
