Revelation 20:1-3

1Then I saw 1an angel coming down from heaven, holding the 2key of the abyss and a great chain 3in his hand. 2And he took hold of the 4dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and 5bound him for a thousand years; 3and he threw him into the 6abyss and shut it and 7sealed it over him, so that he would 8not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.
