Philippians 1:4-9

4always offering prayer with joy in 1my every prayer for you all,

5in view of your 2 3participation in the 4gospel 5from the first day until now.

6For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work 6among you will complete it 7by 8the day of Christ Jesus.

7 9For 10it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I 11have you in my heart, since both in my 12 13imprisonment and in the 14defense and confirmation of the 15gospel, you all are 16partakers of grace with me.

8For 17God is my witness, how I long for you all with the 18affection of 19Christ Jesus.

9And this I pray, that 20your love may overflow still more and more in 21real knowledge and all discernment,
