Micah 6:2-8

2Listen, you mountains, to the indictment by the Lord, And you enduring 1foundations of the earth, Because the 2Lord has a case against His people; And He will dispute with Israel.3 3My people, 4what have I done to you, And 5how have I wearied you? Answer Me.4Indeed, I 6brought you up from the land of Egypt, I 7redeemed you from the house of slavery, And I sent before you 8Moses, Aaron, and 9Miriam.5My people, remember now What 10Balak king of Moab planned And what Balaam son of Beor answered him, And what happened from 11Shittim to 12Gilgal, 13So that you might know the 14righteous acts of the Lord.”

6 15With what shall I come to the Lord And bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with 16burnt offerings, With yearling calves?7Does the Lord take pleasure in 17thousands of rams, In ten thousand rivers of 18oil? Shall I give Him my 19firstborn for my wrongdoings, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?8He has 20told you, mortal one, what is good; And 21what does the Lord require of you But to 22do justice, to 23love 24kindness, And to walk 25 26humbly with your God?
