Micah 6:2-8
2Listen, you mountains, to the indictment of the Lord, And you enduring 1foundations of the earth, Because the 2Lord has a case against His people; Even with Israel He will dispute.33My people, 4what have I done to you, And 5how have I wearied you? Answer Me.4Indeed, I 6brought you up from the land of Egypt And 7ransomed you from the house of slavery, And I sent before you 8Moses, Aaron and 9Miriam.5My people, remember now What 10Balak king of Moab counseled And what Balaam son of Beor answered him, And from 11Shittim to 12Gilgal, So 13that you might know the 14righteous acts of the Lord.”
615With what shall I come to the Lord And bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with 16burnt offerings, With yearling calves?7Does the Lord take delight in 17thousands of rams, In ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my 18firstborn for my rebellious acts, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?8He has 19told you, O man, what is good; And 20what does the Lord require of you But to 21do justice, to 22love 23kindness, And to walk 2425humbly with your God?
