Matthew 26:33-38
33But Peter replied to Him, “Even if they all 1fall away because of You, I will never fall away!” 34Jesus said to him, “2Truly I say to you that 3this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” 35Peter said to Him, “4Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” All the disciples said the same thing as well.
365Then Jesus came with them to a place called 67Gethsemane, and told His disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” 37And He took 8Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with Him, and began to be grieved and distressed. 38Then He said to them, “9My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and 10keep watch with Me.”
