Luke 19:40-44
40Jesus replied, “I tell you, if these stop speaking, 1the stones will cry out!”
41When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and 2wept over it, 42saying, “If you had known on this day, even you, the conditions for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. 43For the days will come upon you 3when your enemies will 4put up a 5barricade against you, and 6surround you and hem you in on every side, 44and they will level you to the ground, and throw down your children within you, and 7they will not leave in you one stone upon 8another, because you did not recognize 9the time of your visitation.”
