Luke 19:40-44
40But Jesus answered, “I tell you, if these become silent, 1the stones will cry out!”
41When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and 2wept over it, 42saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. 43For the days will come upon you 3when your enemies will 4throw up a 5barricade against you, and 6surround you and hem you in on every side, 44and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and 7they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize 8the time of your visitation.”
