Luke 10:12-21
I say to you, 1it will be more tolerable on that day for 2Sodom than for that city.
“3Woe to you, 4Chorazin! Woe to you, 5Bethsaida! For if the 6miracles that occurred in you had occurred in 7Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in 89sackcloth and ashes. 14But it will be more tolerable for 10Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you. 15And you, 11Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be brought down to Hades!
“12The one who listens to you listens to Me, and 13the one who rejects you rejects Me; but the one who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”
Now the 14seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even 15the demons are subject to us 16in Your name!” 18And He said to them, “I watched 17Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19Behold, I have given you authority to 18walk on snakes and scorpions, and authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. 20Nevertheless, do not 19rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that 20your names are recorded in heaven.”
At that very 22time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I 23praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for doing so was well pleasing in Your sight.
