Joshua 10:11-14
11And as they fled from Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth-horon, 1the Lord hurled large stones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died; there were more who died 2from the hailstones than those whom the sons of Israel killed with the sword.
12Then Joshua spoke to the Lord on the day when the Lord turned the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “3Sun, stand still at Gibeon, And moon, at the Valley of Aijalon!”134So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in 5the Book of Jashar? And 6the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hurry to go down for about a whole day. 14There was no day like that before it or after it, when the Lord listened to the voice of a man; for 7the Lord fought for Israel.
