John 9:28-34
28They spoke abusively to him and said, “You are His disciple, but 1we are disciples of Moses. 29We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this Man, 2we do not know where He is from.” 30The man answered and said to them, “Well, here is the amazing thing, that you do not know where He is from, and yet He opened my eyes! 31We know that 3God does not listen to sinners; but if someone is 4God-fearing and does His will, He listens to him. 325Since the beginning of time it has never been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind. 336If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.” 34They answered him, “7You were born entirely in sins, and yet you are teaching us?” So they 89put him out.
