John 8:41-44

41You are doing the deeds of 1your father.” They said to Him, “We were not born as a result of sexual immorality; 2we have one Father: God.”

42Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, 3you would love Me, 4for I came forth from God and am here; for I have 5not even come 6on My own, but 7 8He sent Me.

43Why do you not understand 9 10what I am saying? It is because you cannot 11listen to My word.

44 12You are of 13your father the devil, and 14you want to do the desires of your father. 15He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because 16there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells 17a lie, he 18speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of 19lies.
