John 3:31-36

31“1He who comes from above is above all; 2the one who is only from the earth is of the earth and speaks of the earth. 3He who comes from heaven is above all.

32What He has seen and heard, of this He 4testifies; and 5no one accepts His testimony.

33The one who has accepted His testimony 6has certified that God is true.

34For He whom God 7sent speaks the words of God; 8for He does not give the Spirit 9sparingly.

3510The Father loves the Son and 11has entrusted all things to His hand.

36The one who 12believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who 13does not 14obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
