John 15:20-22
20Remember the word that I said to you, ‘1A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, 2they will persecute you as well; if they 3followed My word, they will follow yours also.
21But all these things they will do to you 4on account of My name, 5because they do not know the One who sent Me.
226If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have 7sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
