John 14:13-31

13And 1whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that 2the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If you ask Me anything 3in My name, I will do it.

15“4If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16I will ask the Father, and He will give you another 56Helper, so that He may be with you forever; 17the Helper is 7the Spirit of truth, 8whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him; but you know Him because He remains with you and will be in you.

18“I will not leave you as orphans; 9I am coming to you. 191011After a little while, 12the world no longer is going to see Me, but you are going to see Me; 13because I live, you also will live. 2014On that day you will know that 15I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I in you. 2116The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and 17the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will 18reveal Myself to him.” 2219Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what has happened 20that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23Jesus answered and said to him, “21If anyone loves Me, he will 22follow My word; and 23My Father will love him, and We 24will come to him and make Our dwelling with him. 24The one who does not love Me 25does not follow My words; and 26the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

25“These things I have spoken to you while remaining with you. 26But the 27Helper, the Holy Spirit 28whom the Father will send in My name, 29He will teach you all things, and 30remind you of all that I said to you. 2731Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. 3233Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor 34fearful. 2835You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away, and 36I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced 37because 38I am going to the Father, for 39the Father is greater than I. 29And now 40I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe. 30I will not speak much more with you, for 41the ruler of the world is coming, and he has 42nothing in regard to Me, 31but so that the world may know that I love the Father, 43I do exactly as 44the Father commanded Me. Get up, 45let’s go from here.
