John 14:13-31
131Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that 2the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If you ask Me anything 3in My name, I will do it.
15“4If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16I will ask the Father, and He will give you another 56Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17that is 7the Spirit of truth, 8whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
18“I will not leave you as orphans; 9I will come to you. 191011After a little while 12the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; 13because I live, you will live also. 2014In that day you will know that 15I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 2116He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and 17he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will 18disclose Myself to him.” 2219Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened 20that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23Jesus answered and said to him, “21If anyone loves Me, he will 22keep My word; and 23My Father will love him, and We 24will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24He who does not love Me 25does not keep My words; and 26the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
25“These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 26But the 27Helper, the Holy Spirit, 28whom the Father will send in My name, 29He will teach you all things, and 30bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. 2731Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. 32Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. 2833You heard that I said to you, ‘I go away, and 34I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because 35I go to the Father, for 36the Father is greater than I. 29Now 37I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe. 30I will not speak much more with you, for 38the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me; 31but so that the world may know that I love the Father, 39I do exactly as 40the Father commanded Me. Get up, 41let us go from here.
