John 12:42-46
42Nevertheless 1many, even of 2the rulers, believed in Him, but 3because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, so that they would not be 4excommunicated from the synagogue; 435for they loved the 6approval of people rather than the 7approval of God.
44Now Jesus cried out and said, “8The one who believes in Me, does not believe only in Me, but also in Him who sent Me. 45And 9the one who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 4610I have come as Light into the world, so that no one who believes in Me will remain in darkness.
