John 1:9-14

9 1This was 2the true Light 3that, coming into the world, enlightens every person. 10He was in the world, and 4the world came into being through Him, and yet the world did not 5know Him. 11He came to His 6own, and His own people did not 7accept Him. 12But 8as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become 9children of God, 10to those who 11believe in His name, 13 12who were 13born, not of 14blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.

14And 15the Word 16became flesh, and 17dwelt among us; and 18we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of 19grace and 20truth.
